Great location. Facilities are nice. Staff are friendly and try to be helpful but leave a longer amount of time if they say it is a 30 mins walk, their timings are a little off. Breakfast is basic but fine. Wifi is good, it stopped working for a little bit but we asked the staff to reboot it and it was fine again. Would stay here again.
The staff was really nice and I got free breakfast and towels. The only thing uncomfortable was that sheets and blankets were quite old. I think you need to change it. Except it, fully-equiped kitchen, nice breakfast, nice balcony, perfect location(You can go most of the places by walking) and nice staff.. Everything was really nice. Highly recommend :)
Really nice atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly. Fairly good location although still a walk to the centre. We were in another flat five minutes walk away from reception which we were not expecting. It was nice, but breakfast then wasn't offered to us. Overall very nice though.
The hostel had great service and was very accommodating. A person in my room snored the whole night and they immediately changed my room when I asked to switch. The place is quiet and relaxing, although at the city center. Great if you want to unwind after a long day instead of a party hostel. Definitely in a nice part of town!
This place was an unexpected and interesting find, more like a large apartment, with only 4 small dorm rooms, so the feeling is very intimate and private. Breakfast, towels, linens and lockers included in low price! The staff were super friendly and helpful. It only has two small bathrooms (though I never had to wait), the place is a bit dated, thin sheets, pillows, but clean. Also smoking is allowed on the balconies which drifted into the bedrooms/common space, so that could be problematic.
Hostel is very beautiful and clean, and it is also cheap. The reception works 24/7 and the stuff is not only polite and friendly, but also willing to help and recommend what to do or where to go etc. I really felt like I was at home. I'm going back for sure!
It was great place to stay... Clean, comfortable, I felt like at home... Kitchen is fully-equipped, towels and sheets are included in a price which is also great. Bathroom is really clean. Stuffs are kind and helpfull. Location is perfect close to most of tourists attractions, close to the bars and pubs as well. For sure we will come back again! Highly reccomended place!
We hade a good time at this hostel as our final destination while interrailing. The rooms are clean enough, the breakfast was alright, it's walking distance to the centre of the city and they have decent wifi. The staff helped us a lot planning our stay and we felt pretty at home.
The only negative I can think of is one of the people working in the staff that started criticizing my friend over religion (she's christian, but doesn't go around talkning about it, however he asked so she responded). He after that went on to trying to convince us that satanism is the way to go showing pictures and books and stuff. It made my friend feel pretty uncomfortable being jumped on like that by someone she didn't even know. But asides from that our stay was good!
The place looks more like an apartment. It was a little bit difficult to find, because there is no sign. However the location is great, close to all the main sightseeings. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Everybody was always ready to give you information and recommendations of what to do. I stayed in the room with three beds, no bunk beds. I recommend this hostel for everyone who is interested in staying a good location and a peaceful environment.
We stayed in a private room which was in a separate building just down the road from the main reception. The reception isn't the easiest place to find but fortunately we'd google'd the hostel prior to going so knew what we were looking for.
Overall, it wasn't the nicest of places. It was clean but everything was really tired and outdated. Walls were wafer thin too so you heard pretty much everything going on around you. Our room was at the back of the building and was quite dark although when walking past a room that was at the front I thought they looked better than ours.
Having said that, the location was perfect. If you're young and are wanting to find a lively tourist area then this would be great for you. It was a few minutes walk from some really great bars and restaurants and is also really close to a 24 hour shop.
The staff were also really friendly and helped us out with finding the best places to go - they marked it all out on a map which they'd given us for free.
Overall, we never thought it was an issue to stay there but I'm not 100% sure I'd stay again.
